Why Visit?
Are you looking for a place to worship Jesus? A great place to start is by joining us for a Sunday service. Whether you’re brand new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ-follower for years, we welcome you to join us for church on a Sunday morning. You are welcome here and we look forwarding to worshipping Jesus with you.
Here’s what you can expect.
When you come to Faith Community Church (FCC) you can expect:
to be greeted at the door and offered help in finding a seat.
contemporary worship music utilizing electric guitars and drums (ear protection is available if you need it).
sound Biblical teaching and preaching from Pastor Matt as well as a few other speakers on select Sundays (you can view a statement of our beliefs here).
there will be a time of offering, a time where the congregation is free to greet each other, and a time of response at the end.
for church to start promptly at 10:30 and generally be finished around 12.
There are some things you should not expect as well, such as:
a rock and roll concert put on for the benefit or enjoyment of the congregation.
a dress code. Wether you like to dress up for church, or place a high value on wearing comfortable clothing you are welcome.
an expectation to give. The FCC leadership team views the responsibility of stewarding the money that is given very seriously. If you would like to sow into the ministries of Faith Community Church we would be honored to steward those resources as well (you can read more about that here), but as a visitor there is no expectation or pressure for you to give.
for your children to have to go to kid’s church. At FCC we offer children’s classes during the adult service with worship and age targeted teaching for pre-school (3-5 years) and elementary age students. We also have a nursery for newborns and young toddlers (0-2 years). There is no expectation for children to attend these classes and are welcome in the adult service. If you do chose to have your child attend one of our children’s ministry classes you can rest assured all of our volunteers have submitted to and passed a background check. We do utilize a check in system to insure we know which kids are supposed to be in a children’s ministry class. This system prints a name tag for each child and gives the parent/guardian a ticket in return, helping our children ministry volunteers make sure each child is picked up by their parent/guardian. If you would like to pre-register your child or children for our check in system you can do so at the bottom of this page, giving you one less thing to do on Sunday morning.
During the service visitors are asked to fill out a short information card. You can do that below, and have one less thing to do during your Sunday morning visit. We ask for this information as a means to further develop a relationship with you and promise we won’t spam you, or sell your information to companies that do.
